Alister Currie

Alister is the Principal of Wiseberry Taree. After purchasing the very successful business in 2001, Alister has put into place a whole new range of training programs for both himself and his staff. Alister believes training and continually striving to improve the knowledge and efficiency of staff and the day to day running of the office is a big part of what he has set out to achieve.

Alister brought with him to Taree a great deal of Real Estate experience from the U.K, where he spent time working within a very large Real Estate organisation. This knowledge has assisted Alister in implementing a new and very successful computer system to the office and new and fresh ideas on marketing properties.

Alister believes in providing a total service from start to finish and prides himself in creating an agency, which is honest in its approach and values ethics within the real estate industry. Too often, honesty and integrity are forgotten in business and Alister strives to ensure he and all his staff conduct all dealings in this manner. Apart from his successful career in Real Estate, Alister has worked for many years in the very demanding International Money Market from his base in the UK. He was a director of the foreign division of an International Company. Under his management, he was in control of about 40 people and travelled the world, working in locations such as, Singapore, Hong Kong, New York, Tokyo and many other European cities.

Alister and his wife Lesley, along with their daughter Dawn have settled very well in Taree (and who wouldn't, in this lovely area). He and his family use to be very involved in showing and breeding Afghan Hounds now they breed and show Lhasa Apso's and have built up a great network of friends locally, throughout the State as well as Interstate. Alister and his business are very involved with the local community and show this by sponsoring local sporting clubs, schools and charities.
