About Bodie Weir
Bodie's journey into real estate began in 2007 when a Sunshine Coast agency tapped into his extensive knowledge of rural land and strong local connections. Initially invited to collaborate with some of the area's most respected agents, Bodie quickly made a name for himself. This opportunity eventually took him to Gympie, where he joined a well-established family-owned real estate business. Later, he transitioned to a franchise brand, where he garnered several prestigious accolades.
With 17 years of real estate sales expertise spanning the Noosa Hinterland, Mary Valley, and Gympie Greater Regions, Bodie offers clients invaluable insights and an extensive network of local contacts. Known for his down-to-earth demeanour, he effortlessly puts people at ease, fostering a comfortable environment for his clients. Bodie firmly believes that an agent's capacity to cultivate trust and forge meaningful connections is paramount in the industry.
His superior negotiating skills, credibility, and excellent customer service to achieve positive outcomes for his clients is a testament to the high transactions he has achieved over the past years. He has a strong ability to navigate the unique challenges of the rural/residential real estate market and help others find their perfect slice of countryside paradise or residential living.
His driving passion for farming, Australian history, antiques, character homes, rural properties, and communities was driven by his past experiences and skill in owning a large herd of Angus cattle, a lifelong interest in Australian stock horses, breeding, and exhibiting poultry for the past 30 years.
He enjoys time with his partner Lauren and three children on their farm in the local area, where you’ll find him in his free time working on his own property mustering cattle or working horses. His qualifications extend to designing farms and landscaped gardens, as well as the winner of the Noosa Festival of Surfing in 2002, a past hobby of his.
He has an unwavering belief in the potential of rural country areas and communities, preserving the countryside's beauty, and ensuring its sustainable growth for future generations.
