About Cameron Smits

As both a leading sales agent and co-principal of Ray White Swan Hill, my focus over recent years has been to help modernise the home selling and property management processes for sellers, buyers, renters and investors in our region.

Making a significant investment in education and training, my team uses the latest techniques and marketing technologies to present clients’ properties to their best advantage. Using a well-refined auction process, we are able to achieve optimum property prices (in one case, 15% above the reserve). While our region's average sale price is around $320,000, we’ve successfully sold $200,000 homes and many lifestyle properties around the $800,000 mark.

With a can-do spirit, I’m happy to share that the average number of days on market for properties sold by Ray White Swan Hill is around 21 days. This is largely due to the success of our process. With homes to sell across the NSW border too, maintaining regulatory knowledge of both the Victorian and New South Wales legislation is also a key focus for us.

For me, it’s not only a pleasure but a privilege to sell homes for my friends, family and other Swan Hill residents whom I have known for most of my life. Originally from Melbourne, my parents moved us to Swan Hill when I was very young. After completing an apprenticeship as a chef, I ventured to other cities to gain experience, but eventually returned ‘home’ to raise a family in Swan Hill.

In addition, my knowledge and experience of regional Victoria is vast. My earlier career in hospitality and agricultural sales allowed me to not only visit regional areas but also develop insights into why people love living in the various country towns.

The Swan Hill district has a wonderful community spirit; when times are tough, everyone jumps in to help. I’m firmly settled here and as a local business owner I love all the opportunities we have to operate alongside other like-minded people.
