Chris Curtain

Senior Director Chris Curtain has been spearheading Lemon Baxter’s people-first approach since 1992.

Even while growing up in northern Melbourne, Chris had an eye for business. He started his own at 18 – employing six staff – before gaining a Diploma in Real Estate.

Later, Chris joined a local agency and rose through the ranks – becoming the youngest leasing agent in the office.

Now, Chris is an industry leader. Across a commercial real estate career spanning almost four decades, he’s leased over 300,000 square metres of office space – and directly sold more than $500 million worth of commercial property.

His formula? Hard work. A fun environment. Strong ethics – and even stronger leadership.

Since joining Lemon Baxter, Chris has helped grow the office from five staff to almost 30. In the field, he specialises in the South Melbourne, Port Melbourne, and St Kilda Road precincts. And heads up our City Fringe Commercial/Industrial Development Site sales team.

A believer in ‘passing the baton of life’, Chris is driven by developing Lemon Baxter’s next generation team members, and training them to get the most out of their talent.

In his free time, Chris can be found fishing, golfing or playing cricket. Or, better yet, spending quality time with family and close friends at his shack by the beach in Blairgowrie.
