About Dean Power
Dean is a genuine Eastern Suburbs local, having lived all of his life in the Eastern Suburbs and the majority of that time in Bondi. He is also an alumnae of the mighty Waverly College and played rugby at Easts Rugby Club for many years.
From Waverly, Dean travelled to Ultimo and the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) to undertake a Bachelor of Business degree including some modules in accounting.
An uncomplicated communicator, the father of five can explain his love for the Eastern Suburbs with one straightforward catchphrase “it’s the beaches.” The avid swimmer is a member of the North Bondi Surf Club and the world-famous Bondi Icebergs. Dean also delights in a round of golf at “Royal Woollahra” and, like many fellow SCG members, waited patiently for the brand-new Sydney Football Stadium to take shape and enjoys going to watch all sports at the stadium with his kids.

Determined, dedicated, and committed to success, Dean has been immersed in the Eastern Suburbs real estate markets for over 40 years, when he decided a career in accountancy after university wasn’t for him.
Starting his stellar property career with a leading boutique real estate agency, by the age of 24, Dean was managing over 2,000 properties. In 1986, Dean started as a sales agent before becoming a principal of a leading office in Potts Point four years later. Over the past 40 years Dean has sold a diverse range of properties including developments all over Sydney, apartment blocks in Bondi Beach, Elizabeth Bay and Potts Point, waterfronts in Vaucluse and properties from Bexley to Annandale to Bondi to Watsons Bay. During this time, Dean has seen many rises and falls in the property market making him an expert for ALL times.
Dean is a tenacious negotiator and an honest, straight-forward communicator. He is driven by his passion for real estate and his commitment to ensure that his vendors get the best possible price for their home even when the market is tough. Dean believes that the communication lines between his client and himself should always be personal and never hands this job over to another agent or assistant.
In 2016, Dean and fellow industry star, Steven Henderson, launched their own business, a property management and sales juggernaut. Dean has recently joined the fold at Raine & Horne Double Bay | Bondi Beach and looks forward to continuing to sell properties under the Raine & Horne banner for years to come.
While he’s focused on sales, Dean is fully committed to his long-term landlords to ensure it is business as usual with the move to Raine & Horne Double Bay | Bondi Beach.
Finally, Dean puts his longevity down to being a straight shooter. Honest to a tee, Dean will never stretch the truth to land a sales or property management listing.
