Ian Cameron

Ian Cameron is the third generation of his family to call the Southern Highlands home. Growing up in Bowral and spending his entire working life in real estate, he’s witnessed first-hand the evolution of the Highlands, a highly desired weekender destination but equally attractive to Sydney buyers happy to commute in exchange for an idyllic lifestyle.

Ian’s friendly down-to-earth manner has made him a popular agent over the years, trusted by customers who value his willingness to share intimate insights into the area that only a long-time local could know.

Ian also has extensive experience in small and large developments and building both hands on and in an advisory role. He is well versed in all things planning and development and has been an incredible wealth of knowledge to many of his clients. He’s helped out-of-towners make the tree-change or invest in a weekender and assisted local families in charting their property journey whether upsizing or downsizing.

For Ian, much of the appeal of real estate is in meeting a constant stream of new people, hearing their stories and helping them to achieve their property goals.

Ian and his wife Penny have raised three sons in the Highlands and more recently has taken to part-time farming. The experience has given him a greater appreciation of the challenges that farmers face, having weathered drought, bushfires and mud all within a 12-month span.

He takes pride in being involved in his local community, helping out local schools, families in their time of need and sponsoring local sports.
