About James Lindsay
Born and raised in Stirling, James Lindsay returned to the Adelaide Hills with a history of corporate negotiation and sales success dating back more than 20 years.
Before joining TOOP+TOOP, James was the Commercial General Manager at Port Adelaide Football Club, a tenure that delivered the greatest commercial results in the club’s 150-year history.
An unyielding drive to deliver his clients’ objectives and an ability to unlock value with creative solutions have allowed James to successfully negotiate complex contracts with multiple Forbes 500 organisations.
After gaining a Bachelor of Business Management, James pursued his career overseas and interstate, working for a range of global brands, including Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff and Heineken in various sales and marketing roles.
In those roles he gained a keen insight into marketing for ‘buyer behaviour’, allowing him to work with vendors to design campaigns across digital and traditional media, maximise buyer interest and, ultimately, sales results.
It is this experience that James enjoys putting to work for his residential, lifestyle and rural clients as a Sales Partner with TOOP+TOOP.
A passionate advocate of South Australia and everything it has to offer, James returned from interstate to live on a 40-acre property in Verdun with his wife Bronwyn and three children Tom, Eddie and Bonnie (and a handful of chickens and cows). James’s father David Lindsay was the local veterinarian for more than 20 years and his practice still operates on the main street of Stirling.
James’s approachability and down-to-earth nature come from his Hills upbringing and have never left him. It is this grounded approach, combined with his integrity, passion for property and his corporate negotiation and sales experience that delivers for James’s clients across the residential, lifestyle and rural sectors.
