Kara Christensen

Kara Christensen is a licensed Real Estate Agent specialising in premium hillside residences in Tamborine Mountain and Wongawallan. Born and raised on the Gold Coast in a real estate family, Kara spent school holidays shadowing her mother at auctions and open homes. This early introduction to property has influenced Kara’s tendency to treat clients as family. Helping clients achieve their real estate dreams has been a major motivator for Kara for more than 17 years and her honest, hardworking approach has led to early sales success, with Kara achieving $14,000,000 in sales and claiming two suburb records in her first year. Kara is a versatile and savvy operator, who works with her team to achieve premium sales across a range of property types, whether it be prestige acreage real estate in the hinterland or luxury waterfront homes on the Coast. Notable sales in include a resort-style hinterland sanctuary at 128 Guanaba Creek Road, Guanaba for $3,500,000; a rare five-acre mountain retreat at 70 Hartley Road, Tamborine Mountain for $2,775,000 (five-acre record); and a tranquil one-acre modern Hamptons home at 582 Main Western Road, Tamborine Mountain (one-acre record). At the 2022 Kollosche Annual Awards, Kara was recognised with second place for the Most Improved Sales Performer and was the recipient of the Tenure Award, which marks five years of consecutive service with the company. Previously, Kara was awarded Operations Support Person of the Year 2019/2020. Kara sits on the Kollosche Community Fund Board, which directs donations to worthy causes across the Gold Coast and she has a vested interest in funding beneficiaries Serving Our People (SOP), the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation’s Cancer Patient Transport Service, and local sporting groups. Kara is also a passionate supporter of Rosies Friends on the Street, who reach out to those in the community who are homeless or need support, and she regularly “gives back” by organising donations to help feed the homeless.
