Keith Brewster brings a wealth of business experience and success to the Benchmark Business Brokers and Valuations team.

* Principal of a company that I established to specialise in the sale of investment and business property.

* Director of a property development company focused on subdivisions, residential and unit development

* State Manager for multi nationals in the print and office equipment industry.

My career thus far has been all about creating successful business outcomes in different contexts. As an entrepreneur running my own development company it meant finding the opportunity and then finding a way to make it work. As the owner of a CBD cafe it meant working long hours to create success. As a State Manager for multi national corporations it meant finding success in managing large teams of ambitious salespeople whilst also managing the needs of customers and those of the corporation.

My principles. What I have learned and what matters to me are:

* Transparency.

Doing business honestly and transparently is the only way to go. Anything else is stressful.

* Communication:

It has to be clear and unambiguous. And it has to be often, with a clear focus on the needs of the other parties.

* Commitment

Whatever is decided and agreed to will have my commitment, because thats the only way things get done. Plus that gives me the basis to expect the same from the other party.

* Enthusiasm and Positivity

I am fortunate that it has never deserted me. I still get excited by creating successful outcomes.

* Customer Care

If I don’t care about my customers and their needs then I can’t be successful. I know for sure, that it is that simple

Outside of work I ride in up to 100km bike events, run in Parkruns and half marathons, enjoy wine with social tennis whilst tying to keep the ball between the white lines.
