Matthew and his wife Holly, moved to FNQ in July 2020 and quickly fell in love with the captivating beauty of the landscape, and “the zest for life” that it inspires. Both avid SCUBA divers, they longed to find somewhere that they could call home which offered them world class diving, alongside the serenity and adventure of tropical rainforests and an exciting/bustling town with which they could develop their careers. Arriving in Port Douglas, they needn’t look any further and they now plan to settle down and start a family of their own here.

Matthew Essex joined the firm in 2021 as a Fully Licensed Real Estate Agent having managed an agency in the UK. He has since completed his qualifications as an Auctioneer, secured a reputation of being an honest and proactive estate agent in the market, and has proudly put his name to the many prestigious sales in the region. Matthew is business-minded, trained in sales-negotiation and prides himself on his English-standard professionalism and customer service.
