Matthew Grech

Matt has a mix of corporate experience in HR and financial services, in Australia and internationally. He has also been a small business owner multiple times, having co-owned a manufacturing business, as well as owning his own recruitment agency. Matt has lived and breathed the challenges that small business owners face.

Having sold businesses as diverse as cafés and cleaning businesses, to trade businesses with revenue in the multi-millions, he understands that not all businesses are the same (obviously), and a bespoke approach needs to be taken to prepare a business for market and communicate the business value to a buyer. Regardless of the industry, Matt will take his time to research the industry, analyse your business and tirelessly search for the right buyer for your business.

Qualifications

- Masters of Business Administration (MBA) specialising in International Business from the University of Newcastle

- Diploma of Financial Planning

- Certified Practicing Business Broker (CPBB) from the AIBB

- Registered Business Valuer

Matt is also a member of the Australian Institute of Business Brokers (AIBB) and is a partner of the Business Broker Network (BBN), a national network of professional business brokers.

Outside of work Matt spends his time with family and dreaming of riding his motorcycle through some of the most obscure places in the World.
