Michael Samson

Michael has been a part of the LJ Hooker Port Douglas team since 2004 when he embarked upon a partnership with the former business owner. Over the years this partnership progressed to the point where he assumed the role of Director and Licensee in 2010.

In these leadership roles, Michael has helped foster the development of the business to the point where it is widely recognised for its contribution to the broader Port Douglas community.

Michael’s years of experience in both residential and commercial transactions have also been applied to his leadership of the sales and property management teams that are collectively focussed on service excellence.

Combining his personable demeanour with an intimate knowledge of the region’s property market, Michael is committed to ensuring all of his clients receive a fulfilling real estate experience.

He is a proud member of the LJ Hooker Captains Club that recognises the performance of the organisation’s highest achievers; an accomplishment that is indicative of the professionalism and determination he has become renowned for.

Prior to joining LJ Hooker, Michael enjoyed a successful 18 year career as a Commercial Electrician. A significant part of his career was spent leading teams of electricians on major commercial developments in both South East and Far North Queensland.

It was during this period that he fell in love with Port Douglas, the place he and his family have proudly called home since 2002.
