With both sides of his family, the Paynters and Russo’s, being Pakenham locals since the early 1970’s and both names being well-renowned in the local area for their contributions to the local community and local sporting clubs, Sam understands the importance of community.

Having started his real estate career in 2006 Sam has adapted the values instilled in him at an early age and built a thriving business upon these foundations. Having also undertaken his own real estate journey during that time, buying and selling his first home, getting married, buying his second home, starting a family, selling his second home and upsizing to a bigger family home gives him a real insight into the emotions and challenges faced by his clients when buying and selling, which really makes Sam strive to not only deliver a great result, but to deliver an personal experience like no other.

Sam has earned a reputation in the area for having extensive real estate knowledge as well as being a trusted adviser to his ever-expanding network of clients. Throughout his career Sam has excelled in sales, marketing, auction campaigns and most importantly negotiating, listening and overcoming obstacles for his clients. As such in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2016, 2017 Sam was awarded entry into L J Hookers Elite Captains Club, which recognises the top 15% of sales people within the L J Hooker network. In 2012 Sam won not only the Victoria/Tasmania Auction rookie Auction competition, but also beat out all other rookie Auctioneers in the LJ Hooker network to be named the international winner. In 2014 & 2018 Sam was awarded entry into L J Hookers Elite Captains Club, Multi-Million Dollar Chapter Member, which places him amongst the top echelon of sales people within the L J Hooker network.

When he is not in the office or working hard for his clients Sam loves spending time with his wife, kids, chooks and dogs. Sam has been involved in many of the areas sporting clubs including the Pakenham Cricket Club where he also sponsors Milo Cricket, the Pakenham Football Club (he still claims to be the best wingman to play there), and still enjoys getting to the Pakenham Golf Club for a quick 9 when time permits.
