About Stuart Davies
Stuart is a born and bred Camden local, having been raised on the family dairy farm “Caernarvon”.
After completing high school, he commenced work at Elders in Picton as a cadet, going on to establish Elders in Camden. After winning the Real Estate Institute of NSW Novice Auctioneering State Final in 1989, Stuart found a passion for Auctioneering and pursued an Auctioneering career in Sydney. He rose to Chief Auctioneer for Laing + Simmons and then later Ray White NSW. In addition to his work in Real Estate, Stuart worked with the Sydney Organising Committee for the 2000 Olympic Games (SOCOG) as an integral member of the lead auctioneering team conducting 365 daily auctions of Objet D’Art in the lead up to the commencement of the Sydney Olympics.
Stuart moved on in 2001 to the role of Sales Manager for McGrath Estate Agents where he was responsible for overseeing the largest and best sales team in Australia, as a well as being one of the Senior Auctioneers.
In 2013, he returned to Camden, and in 2014 established his own real estate office. Stuart has achieved some amazing records in the area including the first ever on line internet auction of 11 lots of land in Grasmere as well two large record prices for rural land in Cobbitty. Most recently setting the district record for a 1 acre block at auction.
Outside of Real Estate, Stuart has been an active committee member of Camden Show Society, a position he held for 13 years. In 2015 he was elected to the position of Councillor on the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS NSW) that oversee the running of the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
Stuart is a family man married to Julie and they have three wonderful daughters. Stuart is extremely passionate about the future of the Macarthur district given how deep his roots are in the area. Stuart is a licenced Real Estate Agent, Stock & Station Agent and Accredited Auctioneer.
