The Curramulka General Store is a relaxed casual café to sit and enjoy a homemade meal. With artwork to admire, giftware to browse through, or to just enjoy a coffee and cookie for morning tea the Curramulka General Store is well loved within the community.
Located on the Yorke Peninsula, the township Curramulka is within 15kms north-east of Minlaton, and is part of a busy farming community with bowling, tennis, football & golf clubs.
The business is comprised of a General Store and Community Post Office (CPO) with over 130 post boxes (96% occupancy), with the convenience of living onsite in a 3-bedroom residence.
The store has a large kitchen with preparation area, and 12-seat café, fruit & veg stand, store shelving, post office boxes, and a large office/warehouse/storeroom.
The sandstone residence has kitchen and dining, 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, separate laundry, sunroom, and a large garden with a chicken coop.
Currently 2 casual staff are utilised in the business, with the vendors each working approximately 20 hours per week. Previously, the business traded 7 days a week, including
public holidays, with full time input from the vendors, however due to health reasons the trading hours were recently reduced.
