GB Coffee is a multi-faceted business and one-stop-shop for all things coffee. The business operates from a beautifully presented retail facility ideally located on Maude Street in the heart of Shepparton's central shopping hub with fantastic exposure to passing foot traffic.
Established in 2009, the business has serviced the local residents of Shepparton and the surrounding areas including the greater Goulburn Valley area to Echuca, Cobram and Benalla for more than 10 years.
The café style coffee house provides a beautifully presented, relaxed, comfortable and friendly environment where customers can enjoy a cup of coffee, light meal or sweet treat.
GB Coffee source their coffee from around the world, concentrating mostly on single origin coffees. Beans are sold in store and online in 250g, 500g and 1kg bags. The business can also blend custom mixes and grind the beans to suit individual coffee equipment. Coffee beans are sold both wholesale and retail.
The business is owned by a husband and wife team and is predominantly run by a full time manager. One owner works approximately 3-4 hours per week performing the administrative duties, back up coffee roasting and wholesale deliveries and pick-up of supplies when required. The manager is supported by an excellent team of four part time baristas and front of house staff.
There is opportunity to further grow the business with the expansion of food offerings and instore merchandise along with a stronger focus on the wholesale coffee bean arm of the business.
Consumer demand for high-quality coffee and convenient food products is anticipated to support revenue growth over the next 5 years. Industry revenue is forecast to increase with trends in health consciousness, premium foods and ethical consumerism projected to drive this revenue growth.
There is further opportunity for growth with the introduction of Sunday trading.
