Legally, these are listed as Three Funeral Homes although two of them are run completely from the same building, same staff etc. Between all 3 Funeral Homes we've cared for over 550 deceased last financial year and we are currently on track to increase this number by another 100 funerals next year.
The Townsville Office is only 4 years old with all the latest and modern facilities.
Our Townville Branch Chapel holds 200 people with an option to use our function room for another 150 people for the Funeral and we also have a Kids room with 3 arranging rooms and all other facilities associated to Funerals.
The Ayr Office is also a fully equipped Funeral Home with 3 staff, but no chapel.
Townsville is fully staffed and equipped and houses the New Gentle Way System. Both facilities are now using the Gentle Way, which is an environmentally friendly System that has NO impact on the environment.
When a Family uses The Gentle Way System, we use a $5000 Tasmanian Blackwood Casket or a Rosewood Casket as a "rental" for their Funeral instead the family having to purchase a costly coffin.
Currently 375 Families have chosen this process and it's continually growing in popularity. With each Gentle Way, we take some DNA from the deceased and place it in a Desert Rose, which is then given to the family and becomes a living Memorial of that person.
