Major League Indoor Sports Shepparton and GV Inflatable Nation form the perfect multi-purpose indoor sports and recreation centre for all ages.
Major League Indoor Sports offers a number of indoor sporting options including mixed and ladies' netball, cricket, men's soccer plus a social soccer competition along with bubble soccer group bookings. The business was established more than 40 years ago and has developed a strong customer base with many loyal, long-term players.
GV Inflatable Nation commenced trading in 2020. It is the only inflatable centre in the region and attracts visitors from the Greater Shepparton area as well as Cobram, Benalla, Numurkah, Nathalia, Echuca and Nagambie.
The businesses operate from a large warehouse premises ideally situated in McGill Street, Shepparton. The facilities include three multi-purpose indoor sports courts complete with under tension nets with 4 meter high roof and computerised scoreboards.
Major League Indoor Sports Shepparton and GV Inflatable Nation currently operate 27 hours per week with a part time Manager. Major League Indoor Sports Shepparton does not hire any additional staff. Umpires are paid per game in cash. GV Inflatable Nation employs three casual team members who work the weekends and private parties.
There is huge opportunity here to grow the business with a full time owner-operator. The premises is not being utilised during the day on weekdays (except on Fridays for private bookings only). There is opportunity here to offer junior sporting competitions in conjunction with local schools along with school holiday programs or a mid-week competition during the day.
GV Inflatable Nation is currently run on weekends only (and Fridays for private bookings). During school holidays, the business could potentially be run on weekdays, closing prior to the sporting competitions run from 6pm onwards.
A comprehensive marketing strategy with a focus on increasing player numbers and registrations for existing and potential future competitions would be beneficial. Use of social media across all platforms and a dedicated website for Major League Indoor Sports Shepparton incorporating the online software management system would also benefit.
