Specialty Gift Store including a stockist of "Charlie Bears" and Christmas decorations.
The business was purchased as an existing gift store in 1999 initially
as a hobby. Within a short period of time after attending many trade shows, the vision for the business evolved and the shop was converted into a specialty store comprising Christmas all year round and a specialty Teddy Bear Store stocking highly sort after collectible bears from the UK, all of which are individually handmade. The owners are proud to have grown the business from being one of five stores in Australia to stock Charlie Bears to the point of being the largest stockist in Victoria which has been recognised by the company in promoting our business to being a specialty Pawstore which entails stocking bears that are exclusive to Good Ole Country.
As a collectible bear, a new collection is released each year, and the mohair section of the collection is generally sold out to pre-order within the first week of release.
Christmas, at good Ole Country, runs all year round with new stock arriving from July onwards.
