
Fife Capital secures lease with Man Diesel & Turbo Australia in Sydney's west
Property group Fife Capital has secured a pre-commitment from new tenant, diesel engine dealer Man Diesel & Turbo Australia for its purpose-built warehouse in Yennora, in Sydney’s west.
The 3100 square metre site 2 at 202 Fairfield Road is due for completion this month, and will feature a high-tech workshop facility with two 12.5-tonne cranes and fuel tank cooling tower.
CBRE’s Elijah Shakir and Rajal Chaudhary brokered the 10-year lease at a net annual rent of $507,085.
Docklands opening
Spanish ship-building company Navantia has established its first Melbourne office in the Docklands, committing to an A-grade 467 square metre office on level seven at 380 Docklands Drive.
Colliers International’s Stephanie Hawkins and Vincent Tran negotiated the three-year lease at a gross annual rent of $500.23 a square metre for BAEV-LaSalle.
Lease inked
The Blue Lady Tattoo Parlour has leased new retail premises for its business on the first level of 67-73 Hardware Lane in Melbourne.
The 102 square metre property is priced at an annual rent of $55,000 over three years with options.
Gray Johnson’s Rory White also negotiated an introductory two-month rent-free period.
Coffee expansion
Market Lane Coffee has secured a 60 square metre new retail lease at 305 Coventry Street, South Melbourne at a gross annual rent of $45,000.
The two-level retail property will accommodate the company’s expansion, on a 10-year lease.
CBRE’s Zelman Ainsworth, Samantha Hunt and Tan Thach marketed for a private landlord.
Psych special
Drummoyne Psychology has leased a 55 square metre office at 135 Victoria Road, Drummoyne in inner west Sydney over three years.
The open-plan office with a balcony will cost the business a gross annual rent of $545.45 a square metre.
CBRE’s Maria Mangcoy acted for a private owner.
Perth to Sydney
Perth-based health and fitness group Speedfit has committed to a five-year lease over a 108 square metre ground floor office at 235 Clarence Street, Sydney for its first Sydney outlet.
It agreed on a gross annual rent with private landlords Han and Wang.
Ray White’s John Skufris closed the deal.
Bussed out
Addictive Entertainment & Tours Pty Ltd has inked a five-year lease with options for a 1080 square metre warehouse at 160 Cowper Street, West Footscray through Colliers International’s Ashley McIntyre and Charlie Woodley. The gross annual rent is $130,000.
The growing business needed more space for its tour buses.
Sailed away
P&O Maritime will relocate to 70 City Road in Melbourne after signing a four-year lease for a 304 square metre office.
Colliers International’s Vincent Tran, Chris Meehan and Rob Joyes and Killen & Thomas represented a private landlord.
Rents are confidential but market rents in the building are between $500 to $530 a square metre.
Distributed
Rastro Pty Ltd has agreed terms on a 386 square metre warehouse/showroom at 35/15 Valediction Road, Kings Park in Sydney’s west for three years with options, through Bawdens Industrial’s Terry Saba.
Rastro will use the Kingsvale Estate property for its distribution business.

Private landlord Salpie Nahabedian has signed up new business Nanomaxx Pty Ltd for a 426 square metre office/warehouse with truck access at 4 Exceller Avenue, Bankstown in Sydney’s south-west over three years with options.
Bawdens Industrial’s Robert Ally and Anthony Barbanera negotiated a gross annual rent of $62,350.
