Heritage spot in Perth business hub for international design firm

International design practice MODE Design is expanding its Perth operations, opening a boutique office on William Street in the CBD.

MODE Design will open its newest office at 56 William Street – a boutique seven-level heritage building in Perth’s commercial hub. It will be the company’s second-biggest studio.

CBRE’s Andrew Denny, who negotiated the three-year lease of the 206-square-metre full-floor property, said the office’s unique quality design was a key factor in the deal.

“Centrally positioned in Perth’s business precinct, this boutique property features wooden parquetry floors and exposed ceilings – a style that was conducive to the theme and feel of MODE Design,” Mr Denny said.

“Testament to the high quality features of this heritage property, the building’s owners, FJM Property, are the same group that undertook the recent multimillion-dollar refurbishment of the Old Treasury Building, which has positioned it as one of Perth’s most esteemed dining spots.”

The annual rental is $250 per square metre net.
