Liddy family's Engadine Tavern on the market for $27.5 million

The Liddy family has put its freehold pub, the Engadine Tavern in Sydney’s south on the market with a price expectation of $27.5 million.

The family has owned the pub for 39 years and has been receiving many unsolicited offers for it over it over the past few years when the pub trade started heating up.

The Engadine Tavern sits on a 5576 square metre site and feature a 1am liquor licence, 26 gaming machines and returns an annual revenue of about $7.4 million.

The site sits across five lots and has mixed-use redevelopment potential up to a 20-metre height and a floor space ratio of 2:1.

CBRE’s Sam Handy, Daniel Dragicevich and Ben Wicks will handle the expressions of interest sale .

“We anticipate that the campaign will generate interest from a broad spectrum of buyers. This will range from hoteliers interested in reinvigorating the offering through to land bankers and developers attracted by the sites large landholding offering flexible redevelopment and site amalgamation options,” Mr Dragicevich said.
