Property for sale has rooms designed to relieve stress

A commercial property in Victoria sees Aussies paying to smash things.

The industrial-zoned site at 51-53 John Street in the Melbourne suburb of Oakleigh, consists of a warehouse called Smash Splash where the public can pay to destroy crockery, televisions, printers and phones.

There is also a two-storey office and a brand-new caretaker’s residence.

Smash rooms have fast become a unique way to relieve stress.

George Kelepouris and George Ganavas of Ray White Oakleigh Commercial are handling the listing. The property is scheduled to go to auction.

Smash rooms are described on the Smash Splash website as the perfect way to “smash out stress and have fun at the same time”.

They supply a crate of crockery to smash, while additional items such as televisions, printers and phones can be purchased on the day.
