The City of Playford are embarking upon a significant redevelopment of the civic centre on Main North Road and opposite the dominant shopping centre in the northern suburbs Elizabeth City Centre. The works on Prince George Plaza itself are already underway with a scheduled finish by the end of this year.
Being undertaken by the City of Playford itself we have available to lease from 40 sqm (approx) up to the whole space of 305 sqm (approx), plus an additional storage facility, for food users fronting on to the plaza and Elizabeth City Centre.
Also included in the immediate precinct is a new $20 million 5 level medical hub where contracts have been exchanged on the sale of the land. A new Ice Sports arena is in the final stages of negotiation and council expect to be running a registration of interest campaign in August 2017 to developers and hotel operators to develop a new hotel nearby on the eastern side of the plaza.
Owned by Vicinity Centres the Elizabeth City Centre is a single-level regional shopping centre of 80,365sqm with annual traffic of 8,600,000 people. The centre has turnover of $345 million per annum with 3,228 car parks and is anchored by Big W, Target, Coles, Woolworths and Harris Scarfe, plus Reading Cinemas, JB Hi-Fi and 150 specialty stores.
Our food tenancies will come with all the necessary infrastructure such as 3 phase power, grease arrestor and gas connection. And in addition to the tenancy area there is provision for outdoor seating.
