OMG - I just love this private and peaceful get away - my brain goes into overload when I think of all the terrific times, memories and fun that you would have if you owned a patch of dirt (83 acres) with a fabulous weekender on it like this one.
The first thing that I think of is having all the family and the kids come and camp, I can see it now- tents and camper vans, motorbikes, quads, dogs, with 83 acres to enjoy you're not going to annoy anyone. Once everyone is tuckered out you can finish the day off with a bbq and of course some marshmallows around the fire pit.
Or a get together for friends, on the back patio with the outdoor kitchen, the pot belly roaring a few drinks some nibblies, standing there looking out to the impressive view (Mt. Maroon) enjoying all that and chatting away.
But hang on there - this weekender can offer so much more; it could be perfect if you own a business and want to have some meetings or get togethers to plan the next business year or spoil your clients with a wine and cheese afternoon.
Gees so many options- the location is right in the middle of a tourist area, you have "The Shed Cafe" and the large camping grounds "Bigriggen" just a couple of kilometres away and the area is dotted with Air BNB's and Winery's, best bet would be to talk to the Scenic Rim Regional Council to see if you could set up your own camping grounds.
The property is a mixture of scrub and flat acres of grass, it currently has cattle on it and according to the owners it can handle 20 head of cattle or 10 horses- imagine being able to saddle up and ride as far as you want without the risk of going on a road and having to deal with cars.
The weekender is an absolute delight- ( not a council approved home) it has been thoughtfully changed (used to be a shed) to make a very comfortable retreat, a great spot to get away, relax and unwind. The views from inside the weekender are fabulous you look straight out on to Mt. Maroon with Mt. Barney just located to the left.
It has everything you need, gas cooking, gas hot water, pot belly stove, one bedroom and a bathroom, it has also been set up to work off the grid with solar panels and battery.
So come and view, this property is a rarity, and it is a beaut place to unwind and get away from everything - there is plenty of sites to build a permanent home on or enjoy it "as is", loads of fun and good times to be had on this property!
