Colliers is pleased to present for sale or lease the Tasman Vineyards aggregation, Tasmanias largest vineyard development opportunity.
Key features of the opportunity include:
Two properties Evandale Vineyard and Pipers River Vineyard located in two recognised sub-regions of Tasmania, Pipers River and the Upper Tamar Valley.
A combined aggregation of approximately 389 hectares (962 acres), comprising approximately 185 hectares (457 acres) of assessed and categorised land that is ideally-suited to wine grapes.
Of the plantable land area, approximately 36 hectares has been planted to wine grapes (Pinot Noir and Chardonnay) in 2019 and 2020.
Access to four separate sources of water across the aggregation, as well as a total of 856 megalitres of entitlements.
Favourable soil types, ranging from Podosols (free draining silts sands) to Ferrosols and Duplex soils (ranging from basalts, rounded gravel, with vein quartz, basalts and clay loams).
Mild spring and summer temperatures, with warm autumn days and cool nights, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly on the vine, resulting in maximum varietal flavour development and the retention of high natural acidity.
Management solution in place for ongoing development (subject to agreement).
For Sale or Lease by Expression of Interest closing Thursday 6 May 2021 at 4pm (AEST).
