Beginning as a residential agency in 1959, Rutherfords & Co. branched into Industrial Property several years later. Having established a strong reputation as one of Melbourne’s most experienced and honest agencies. Rutherfords & Co. became Rutherfords Real Estate in 2003. In 2010 Rutherfords Property Management was launched as a part of Rutherfords Real Estate.

It is a family business and four generations have worked for the company since 1959. In that time we have actively been involved in owning & developing industrial property (both in conjunction with other parties or otherwise on our own account). This real experience has given us a greater understanding of various points of view relating to industrial property transactions, to appreciate both vendor and landlord requirements and to use this knowledge in bringing parties to agreement.
