Rarer than a Pink Coconut is the shipyard on the Queensland coast at Flying Fish Point, Coconuts, Innisfail - 70minutes from Cairns. The only Shipyard between Cairns and Townsville.
A fully operational shipyard with 5,776m2 of Freehold land and 2979m2 of Leasehold Land (above the water).
Currently, the business is registered as a Slipway and operating for the past twenty years as a thriving business.
Specializing in all types of work on boats, engines, repairs, overhauls, reconstruction, refit, welding, sand blasting and fibre glassing. Boat owners are able to bring on their own contractors and trades people and parts into the yard at present.
The Flying Fish Point Slipway has not only the freehold land, but leasehold over the water with 80m jetty, a full workshop, office, fuel licence and fuel lines still in place. Included is a 300 tonne main slipping area, 65 tonne cradle lifter, hard stand area and Dry Storage areas.
All current licences and ERA's are in place and would simply need to be transferred to the new owner.
