New Commercial Offices Expressions of Interest Closed 10th May 2019.
The City of Port Adelaide Enfield is in partnership with the State Government to create a venue where our community can lead active and healthy lifestyles, participating in a range of sport, recreation and community activities in a modern, sustainably managed and fit-for-purpose indoor recreation facility.
At its meeting in February 2018, Council signed off on this significant community project with a total construction cost of $24.9 Million. Council also named the new facility "The Lights Community and Sports Centre", to be known as "The Lights".
This premier facility will have five full size courts, including a show court that is suitable for major events for sporting, cultural and community activities. In addition The Lights includes areas for community meetings, function and social spaces and other activity areas that encourage diversity in use of the new centre. A significant number of sporting, community and commercial groups have already expressed interest in being involved with the centre.
The office areas can be from 70 sqm up to the whole space of 300 sqm. The tenancy will be separately metered and secured.
Available October 2019.
Here is what will be provided as a part of the base building works:
- Concrete floor, trowel-finished and ready for the lessee to affix their own floor coverings
- Lighting
- Air-conditioning
- Switchboard
- Timber framed, gyprock clad walls clad in 13mm acoustic plasterboard flushed ready for Lessee to paint
The Lights includes a function space catering for meetings which could double as additional boardroom space. Applicants will need to give consideration in their proposal as to how they can work with Council to service the centre's requirement with community service, health and wellbeing uses being preferred..
McGees Property has been engaged by the City of Port Adelaide Enfield to manage an Expressions of Interest campaign to lease the office tenancy within The Lights Community and Sports Centre. Expressions of Interest closed at the office of McGees Property on Friday 10th May 2019 at 4.00 pm (ACST).
