Set in the Central Highlands, known as the Lake Country of Tasmania, London Lakes offers the perfect location for an accessible wilderness retreat. In the geographic centre of Tasmania, it is a two hour drive from Hobart or Launceston and only three hours easy access from Melbourne.
Lakes
Lake Big Jim 935 acres (378 hectares) and Lake Samuel 563 acres (228 hectares) were created when the then Hydro Electric Commission began dam works in 1977-78. Top water levels took advantage of the varying topography creating many small bays and inlets that offer calm shelter for the angler. In the early 2000s, the highland stream that connects the two lakes was extended and completed, resulting in over 40 pools and pondages that meanders and runs to Lake Benjamin.

Throughout the season, fly rods and waders are racked on the Lodge building.
