    'Amaroo' is made up of two parcels of land that sit on either side of the Coonabarabran Road which links to Spring Ridge, Caroona and Quirindi, and with direct access to the village of Premer and the adjacent Graincorp silos and rail terminal.

    Originally home to the Premer saleyards there is town water to the town block. Interestingly, there are also two cricket pitches which helped to make up grounds for the Premer Cricket season.
