To the East of the Hazelbrook Homestead is predominately pulled sandy loam buffel country.  To the West of the Homestead is virgin timbered sandy loam country. Timber includes Box, Ironbark, Bloodwood, Cyprus Pine & Dead Finish. Buffel is the predominate grass on "Hazelbrook". Native grasses on the property include Spear & Kangaroo Grass, Seca Stylo is established on the property.
