    Development Concept - Key features of the Maryborough Marine Industry Precinct will be:
    • 10 hectare common user precinct in which will be located a wet basin with travel lift and adjacent hardstand area;
    • 19.2 hectare open space/drainage corridor in which stormwater treatment facilities and establishment of an interpretive
    wetland and compensatory planting for mangroves removed for the wet basin;
    • 6.6 hectare precinct fronting Beaver Rock Road potentially suitable for the establishment of an aquaculture precinct or
    other complementary uses; and
    • A balance area of approximately 27 hectares suitable for development (the actual extent of which is subject to further
    hydrology and fill assessments).
