ICA02 while a "Good, better, best" philosophy means that the HACCP based Quality Assurance program implemented
by 888 is constantly being updated in line with evolving best practice which, in the end is exemplified by its high quality
product reflected in strong export and domestic demand for the fruit.
The current owners are marketing the land, plantings, water, buildings, plant equipment and all brands and intellectual
property in a single line. They would also consider proposals for a joint venture investment, providing scope for the
vendor to stay on and fulfil their multigenerational journey.
888 Citrus has an excellent reputation in the markets in which it operates, with strong demand from export marketers
focused on Asia for citrus production. Table grapes are sold into the high value pre-Christmas and Christmas market
domestically, where high prices are achieved due to competitive supply being largely from import supply.
The vendor has been actively investing in new, preferred varieties in its three categories. This can be seen in the low
average age of plantings included in the sale and increasing production as young trees and vines come into mature production.
